Comments, columnists, cruises

Just today I was speaking with our sock columnist Kate Atherley, who was wondering what you all think of her sock column. You know…this one?

So let’s hear from you: what do you think of Wisehilda on Socks? What are you wondering about in the world of socks? Are there other types of columns you might want to see. Let us know, we’d love to hear what you’re thinking.

And if you REALLY want to dive in on the socks with Kate directly, we’re doing a 7-day Caribbean cruise with Kate, Anna Dalvi and Shannon Okey next January. See this post for details at the CP website.

Thank you, Vogue!

We got a lovely mention in the Holiday 2012 issue of Vogue Knitting — thank you, Vogue!

Also, congrats to Ava Schmidt, winner of our October subscriber-only contest! Ava will be getting a signed copy of Anna Hrachovec’s fantastic new book Super Scary Mochimochi!

Issue zero premiering at TNNA

(on Ravelry)

Here’s a sneak peek at issue zero, which will be premiering the weekend of 23 June at TNNA (the National Needle Arts Association) in the Cooperative Press/Knit Edge booth #554.

We will have a limited number of print copies at the show, and will be making the PDF version of the issue available here and on Ravelry for a limited time. Issue zero includes designs by Andi Smith, Annie Modesitt, Ruth Garcia-Alcantud and Sarah Wilson, as well as articles and previews of what you can expect in issue one this fall.

Thanks to readers like you, we are now planning to issue PDF editions of the magazine as well as the app-based version. The PDF editions may not have the multimedia capabilities of the app, but in the interest of making the magazine easier to read on multiple devices, PDF will also be an option. We’d like to thank everyone who’s given us their valuable feedback as we launch Knit Edge!

If you’d like to advertise or contribute to the magazine…

We have been overwhelmed (happily!) by the thoughtful and kind reception to Knit Edge upon our announcement. If you would like to advertise or contribute to the magazine (patterns, editorial, etc), please do fill out this form so we can get back to you in an organized way! Thank you again for all your kind words about Knit Edge and we’ll see you soon!

p.s. smaller advertisers are very welcome, in fact we’re offering some special programs just for you!

Yes, it’s true.
